Woodard Custom Painting is one of Lake Tahoe's most referred painting contractors, serving Northern Nevada and California since 1975. We don't claim to be the biggest, the best or even the cheapest, but we have remained in business for over 25 years by providing an honest and reliable service at a fair price!
Our reputation has stood the test of time because we properly prepare all surfaces prior to painting using a twelve step preperation process, and using only top quality paints such as Kelly-Moore and Fuller-O'Brien.
Woodard Custom Painting is a privately held California company licensed by the Contractors State License Board in Nevada (# 60144) and California (# 397152) as a full-service Painting and Decorating Contractor. Our financial references are listed with Dun & Bradstreet . In our 25 plus year history we have had no marks against us with the Contractors Board.
Our company is a merit (non-union) shop specializing in both large and small interior and exterior repaints. We are considered experts in large high-rise condominium and commercial paint projects as well. With annual sales of over one-half million dollars, no job is too large or too small for Woodard Custom Painting.
Having been in business since 1975, our crews have successfully completed over 3,500 painting projects. Our painters are drug tested, uniformed and provided with an ongoing training process.
We are fully insured with Brooke Insurance and we carry General Liability insurance. We carry Workers Compensation insurance with State Compensation Insurance Fund. Certificates are available upon request.

March 1998 - (South Lake Tahoe) South Shore painting contractor Tom Woodard and Woodard Custom Painting was presented with a National Safety Award at the PDCA National Convention in Nashville, TN. The company posted over 10,000 man hours in 1997 with no lost work days.
December 1998 - (South Lake Tahoe) Woodard Custom Painting donated time and labor to paint the S.A.R.T. room at Barton Hospital for the South Lake Tahoe Womens Center. The room is anticipated being complete in February 1999. All community members donating their services will be recognized at a ribbon cutting ceremony.
