Going Green
Are you or others sensitive to paint smells and other chemicals?
Are you concerned about the environment?
If you'd like your painting project to be more environmentally friendly, we have a solution. Our “green” paints (which, of course, come in any color!) contain fewer chemicals, making them better both for the environment and for your family. Most paints give off that “new paint” smell. This is actually the smell of VOCs, or volatile organic compounds, that are released into the air as the paint dries. Our "green" paints have a lower amount of VOCs, cutting those chemicals considerably. This means you'll be enjoying your new paint job without that "new paint" smell.
For clients looking to "go green", we often utilize Benjamin Moore’s “Aura” and “Eco-Spec” paints, which are low VOC. “Natura” is no VOC and is virtually odorless. The manufacturing process for Natura is eco-friendly. The cans, labels, advertising brochures are all made from recycled materials. All Natura paint is manufactured within 300 miles of retail stores to cut down on emissions from transporting.
Other manufacturer's including Kelly-Moore and Sherwin-Williams offer their own brands of "non-odor" or "low-odor" finishes.
Whether it is a matter of health or perhaps for environmental reasons, if these are matters of concern to you, we have the solutions available.
